Whilst product design skills are defined by industry experience, they are to some degree transferable. Although most of our work is outside of the conventional consumer product arena, our approach and experience of manufacturing is well suited to moving from one industry to another. However, we have particular experience of designing furniture systems for leading international clients including Herman Miller and Senator International.

In terms of scale, we are comfortable working on small intricate assemblies such as portable electronic devices through to larger structures like bus shelters and caravans.

With each industry sector, different economic, technical and logistical dynamics exist. But in each case it is vital that in a highly competitive environment, new designs are informed, commercial and sustainable.

Through simple imaginative engineering, we believe it should always be possible to find a way to add value to a product, making it easy to use and viable to manufacture. We also believe that quality is key to improving sustainability. Products that are designed, made, and work well are appreciated and last longer. To shape the way assemblies are developed and the ways materials are used, we think about the whole life of the product from cradle to cradle.
