At the southern end of Michigan Avenue as part of the Millenium Park development you will not be able to miss two 50 foot tall glass towers spilling gallons of water into the plaza below. This is the Crown Fountain by Jaume Plensa.
Simple in form and brilliant in execution, it runs through a random sequence of deluges and spouts while images of 1000 Chicagoen's are projected on to the side of the blocks.
This is genuine public art.
